We are pleased to announce that Imperial has acquired Digital X-Ray Specialists, Inc. (DXSI)
Imperial Imaging Technology has experienced tremendous growth in the past year. We have continued developing through several acquisitions, successfully expanding our influence in the southeastern United States. Our latest acquisition enables us to extend our high-quality service into a new market.
DXSI is a medical sales and service firm specializing in digital imaging and radiology based in Knoxville, Tennessee. They prioritize bringing the latest imaging technology, equipment, and software solutions to clients. This acquisition will allow Imperial to continue growing the Atchley legacy while gaining highly-skilled engineering and sales professionals with experience in this new market. Imperial looks forward to its continued growth and success in the future.
What Changes: Expanded, Comprehensive Services
This acquisition will allow Imperial to enter a new market in Tennessee. “By acquiring DXSI,” Imperial President Aaron Pressley explains, “Imperial is able to expand its capabilities and portfolio.” He continues, “Our newly acquired customers will be glad to find that we are more of an all-in-one company that is capable of meeting their needs in an efficient manner.” Both Imperial’s new and returning clients will notice more imaging options and increased capacity, continued cohesive teamwork, and ambitious leadership that is constantly raising its standards.
What Stays the Same: Trusted Service Reps
DXSI clients will continue to work with the same service representatives they have built relationships with over the years. Randy and Leah Atchley, DXSI’s CEOs, will stay with Imperial for six months as consultants to assist in the transition process. “We vow to maintain the same level of world-class services that DXSI customers are accustomed to seeing,” Pressley states. Service will continue to run smoothly while Imperial expands its reach and capabilities.
Looking to divest DXSI in the near future, the Atchleys, seeking a buyer for the company that they founded and grew, sought out a partner who would continue their mission to provide high-quality service. “Even from the initial conversation,” Leah Atchley explains, “we felt very comfortable with Aaron as a person, and with his philosophy on how he was running his business. It seemed to be very in line with how we have been running our business for the past 20 years. It seemed to make sense and be a good fit all around.”
“The company culture will stay the same. Things will be handled the same as they always have been,” Atchley continued.
Imperial is a leader in the diagnostic medical imaging business that partners with numerous healthcare organizations in the southeastern United States. Pressley felt that “DXSI is a good fit because they have a fantastic reputation. Throughout their 20 years in business, they have established themselves as a reliable source of advanced imaging services. We are excited to continue that legacy.”
Imperial looks forward to starting off the new year with this acquisition and ensuring a seamless transition for our new and existing clients and team.
