Position Summary
As Sales Director, you will oversee the operations of Imperial’s sales department. You must be competent in planning and executing strategies to create new opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and excite and motivate the sales team to outperform the industry. Imperial’s sales director will thrive off the relentless pursuit of providing the best customer experience in the industry as well as building and leading a group of highly motivated individuals through the company’s core values.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team
- Manage and exceed or reach the set business targets assigned within each territory
- Develop, execute and oversee strategies and plans to achieve the set business targets
- Performing ride along and other in-territory training opportunities
- Overseeing promotions and campaigns in collaboration with marketing firm/department and manufacturers
- Planning and directing the hiring of new sales reps
- Working with leadership to prepare sales budget and projections
- Approving expense reports
- Approving quotes to a certain margin threshold
- Managing the quoting tool: templates, training, etc.
- Work to maintain and improve customer base
- Initial handling and resolving of customer complaints that come through sales
- Work to help generate leads and opportunities for team
- Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
- Build and maintain good and lasting relationships with key clients and manufacturers
- Hold regular sales meetings with team to review monthly performance, review new products or services, discuss strategy, discuss market trends, etc.
- Host annual sales meeting
- Partner with directors in other departments to come up with better strategies that will also encourage interdepartmental collaboration
- Create and maintain accurate records and sales reports with companies CRM
- Supply President with weekly sales dashboard
- Participate in monthly leadership meetings
- Performing and/or assisting with annual employee reviews, corrective action, performance plans, hiring and firing.

- Experience and efficiency with O365, especially with creating documents and spreadsheets
